Spyder Harrison - "The Voice" of Juice1038!

Spyder is the big, ballsy American voiceover guy you hear between the songs 24/7 on Juice1038, he's the guy responsible for setting the mood of the station and is a bit of a legend in the radio business.

After spending the first 12 years of his life in the Big Apple, Spyder Harrison and his family moved to Miami when he was 13. Two years later, he made his radio debut doing color commentary for Miami Beach Senior High School’s football broadcasts on a local educational station. At the age of 16, he was a student at Miami-Dade Community College and also the afternoon drive deejay at a Miami country station.

By 1980, the native New Yorker was known as J.J. Walker, the afternoon jock on Tampa Bay’s WYNF. From there, he moved on to Kansas City’s KBEQ, WHYT Detroit, and Orlando’s Y106, and then to Z100 in New York, Miami’s Y100, KDWB in Minneapolis, and Philly’s Eagle 106. He returned to Tampa Bay in 1994 with gigs at 98 Rock WXTB and WFLZ (first in late nights and then afternoons).

In the 2000s, Harrison joined Sirius-XM Satellite Radio as a host on its 70s on 7 station, again as J.J. Walker, and today hosts "Aftenoons with Spyder" and the “Weekend Countdown” on Sirius-XM Hits 1 across all of North America.

Yes, what you hear is his real voice - it's not computer generated - and when he's not sitting poolside at home in Miami, you can find him hosting his own version of The Bachelor (in his head) and trying (unsuccessfully) to get on Dancing With The Stars.
